About Word-by-Mail

In 2002, Pastor Dave Shepardson had a family in his church move out of state. They asked if the church could mail them a cassette tape of the message each week. That was the beginning of the Word-By-Mail ministry of Calvary Chapel Nuevo.

13 years later Word-By-Mail has mailed out or given away over 450,000 FREE CD's and DVD's, as well as having thousands of messages listened to or downloaded online.

You can still receive free weekly DVD's or CD's by mail from Word-By-Mail. We would really encourage you to give the free weekly mailing a try. We've found that it helps people develop the habit of regularly listening to the teaching of God's Word.

New Chapter

In 2015 we decided our teaching library was too limited with just Pastor Dave's messages.

This new media resource library was built for one specific purpose; to provide quick and easy to find solid, Biblical, verse-by-verse teaching on ANY verse in the Bible. We have also cataloged the library to include most major subjects in the Christian life.

Trust

A tremendous amount of time has gone into real life research regarding how Christians and non-Christians attempt to get Bible teaching they can trust online. This resource library was crafted to make that task much easier.

The messages and resources found on this site have been hand-picked to ensure their faithfulness to the Word of God and their enjoyment in listening or watching. We pray every message you watch, listen to, or read, will strengthen your walk with Jesus Christ.

Please let us know what you think about the site, and what you would like to see added to the site. We are confident that God will bless you as you continue to study His Word.

We Believe...

- That there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; that this triune God created all, upholds all, and governs all.

- That the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, fully inspired by the Holy Spirit, without error in the original manuscripts, and the infallible rule of faith and practice.

- That all people are sinners by nature and choice and, therefore, are under condemnation.

-That God regenerates by the Holy Spirit those who repent of their sins and put their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord.

-That the Holy Spirit indwells every true believer and that Jesus Christ baptizes the seeking believer with the Holy Spirit for power and service, either simultaneously or subsequently to regeneration.

- In the Universal Church, the living spiritual body, of which Christ is the Head and all regenerated persons are members.
