New Things

As we reflect on our time spent with God this week, it’s important to ask what God is trying to show us and the ways in which he has spoken to us. Sometimes he comes with a loud, booming voice to get our immediate attention. Sometimes he comes in soft whispers to really get us to be still and listen.

Either way, God is always communicating with us. He wants to connect with us, to watch us grow, and to see us delight in the goodness of life. He wants us to remember how He has provided for us and taken care of us. God’s work in your life is so much greater than you can ask for or even imagine. There are things He is already organizing on your behalf that you don't even know about because he cares so deeply for you.

So this week, let’s reflect on the amazing things He has already done for us and will continue to do. Consider the ways has He surprised you, blessed you, used you, and changed you this week. For me, God has shown me how to be more patient and has taught me how to speak to myself in an uplifting way. He’s helped me to realize the power in taking authority over my thoughts and the power of not planting seeds of doubt or worry into my mind.
So now it’s your turn. On your Encountering The Father page in your journal, take a few minutes and reflect on your growing relationship with God.

Prayer: Dear God, what new things do You have in store for me? I cannot wait to see what you do in my life and how you shape me as a person. I am so thankful to be the clay in your hands. In Jesus’ name, amen.
