What Am I Grateful For
Hi everyone. It is 'What Am I Grateful For' day. Let's take a minute to reflect on what we are specifically grateful for this week.
You can journal your gratefulness on the “Grateful For” page in your Alone with God Journal. If you don’t have a journal, TEXT US at (877) 790-9673, and we’ll send you one. If possible, we ask for a $20 donation to cover the cost and shipping.
Let's read these verses over a few times, slowly
1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 (NLT) 16 Always be joyful. 17 Never stop praying. 18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
It is God’s will that we remain thankful in all circumstances. We can always be joyful because joy comes from the inside – from being filled with the Holy Spirit. And never stop praying, and being grateful, in all circumstances.
And Let's pray together.
Lord, wherever I’m at today, whatever hill I’m climbing, whatever struggle I’m facing, may I always be thankful. May I be grateful for who you are, may I be thankful for all you’ve done in my life, and may I be thankful for what you are doing in my life - always and forever thankful to you, Lord. I know by faith that you are at work in my life, and I’m thankful for it, even if I can’t see it. Thank you, my Lord. In your mighty name, Jesus, amen.
God bless your day – Pastor Dave
