Sunday Sermon
Isaiah 40:29
Week 5/Day 7
Hi everyone. It’s Tricia, along with Daisy, with another Alone With God journal guide. If you are heading to church this morning and have a journal, please remember to bring it with you. There’s a place to take Notes, an area for Key Verses, and a Prayer For The Coming Week section. If you want to order your copy of the Alone With God journal, you can do so at wordbymail.com.
If you can’t attend church today, we invite you to watch a whole sermon from Pastor Dave’s “Heaven” series titled “The Real New Jerusalem.” It’s going to be an amazing place and something incredible to look forward to.
To close, Daisy is going to pray Isaiah 40, verse 29. Be encouraged as you go forward and spend some alone time with God. I will talk with you next time. Here’s Daisy.
Isaiah 40:29 (NIV)
29 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.
So, if you’re feeling tired, if you’re feeling weary and burnt out, let’s just take a moment and pray for strength and stand on that promise.
Lord, I ask that you infuse me with your power, your strength, your might so that I can face this day. Thank you that your joy is my strength. Lord, you are my portion forever. Without you, I can do nothing. In Jesus’ name, amen.
